AL Home NJ is not a big company. It's me, a phone, and a network of independent contractors I've worked alongside for years — roofers, gutter crews, tile and bathroom specialists, plumbers, electricians, painters. Most of them are small family businesses in Passaic and Bergen counties.
I built this site because finding a good contractor in New Jersey is a gamble: you call five numbers, two answer, one shows up. I wanted a simpler way — you tell me what's going on at your home, add a few photos if you like, and I send your request to the contractor I trust for that kind of job. They call you, look at the work, and give you their own price. No obligation.
I don't take money from homeowners. I don't send your request to strangers. And I don't give jobs to people I haven't seen work.

How We Choose Partner Contractors
- Every contractor in our network runs their own independent business — they are not AL Home NJ employees.
- The owner knows each partner contractor personally before adding them to the network.
- You're always welcome to ask the contractor who contacts you for their NJ HIC registration number and proof of insurance before agreeing to anything.
